You've Got Mail...

Digi image is from Doodle Palace

Isn't this just the cutest giraffe?! How funny would that be looking over your fenced in yard and seeing this cutie delivering your mail!! Yes, I know it will never happen but it is still a fun thought! What can I say I have a good imagination as I'm sure most of you do is part of our creative nature! :)

This was also my first attempt at weaving on a card....NOT EASY! But I think it turned out better than expected.

Crafty Calendar - Fun or humorous
Lily-Boo Too - Yellow, pale green and blossom
Doodle Palace - Funny animals
ABSC019 - Sketch (I did weaving instead of using individual squares)
Sisterhood of Scrap Hop (Susan's Challenge) - Paper weaving
Penny's - Anything goes
Crafty Creations - ONLY 1 image, 1 DP and 1 embellishment
Simon Says - Movie and dry embossing (Based on the ever popular 1998 movie "You've Got Mail" with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks!)

Thanks for stopping by my little ole blog! Hope you enjoy what you see!
I gotta get ready to do some tile work....yes I am a "Jack" or shall I say "Jill" of all trades! :P

Truffle Box!

This is a freebie template designed by Gina Jane and I got it here.

I really haven't tried many templates before...I can only think of one and that was a mini milk carton. This was very easy to make...just print, cut and fold. I did have a tad trouble trying to get the box to STAY closed but we eventually came to an understanding! LOL! I found that it is a perfect size to fit a single Ghiradelli chocolate too....hazelnut and milk chocolate...YUM! That combination gets me every time! :)

Penny's - Anything goes
Oh Alice! - Flowers
Creatalicious - Wings and flowers
Makeup 4 The Weekend - Use a template
Flutterby Wednesday - Open but must use an angel, butterfly or fairy

Girl with butterflies...

Because of time constraints I stuck with a pretty simple card...if I had more time I probably would of tried to add a sky, maybe grass and some glitter. But I still think it turned out pretty cute!

Image is from Alota Rubberstamps (not sure of specific it in a grab bag)

Allsorts - Petals and pearls
Oh Alice! - Flowers
CPS - Sketch
Flutterby Wednesday - Open ... just make sure you have an angel, butterfly or fairy on your project
TPE - 1 image, 2 dies and 3 embellishments
Cupcake Craft - Childhood memories
Lily-Boo Too - Use the colors yellow, pale green and blossom
Roses on Paper - Layers and you must use certain stamps (I used Alota)
Penny's - Anything goes
Creatalicious - Wings and flowers
Fab N' Funky - Use a neglected stamp ... sad to say many of my stamps are neglected :( But hopefully I can change that!! :)
Stamptacular Sunday - Spots and dots
Corrosive - Texture

Thanks for stopping by and if you like my work send some people this way...always happy to see new followers and yes I'm glad to KEEP old followers too!! Don't want you all feelin' unloved! HEHE!

What's on your workdesk Wednesday?? This is mine!

Still keeping it pretty tidy...most of the stuff out is what I was using to work on that card you see in the picture which I will be posting next!

Head on over to the Stamping Ground and check out other work spaces!

Birthday Card for Dawn

Image is from Rubber Romance
Sentiment is from JustRite

This is a card I made a few weeks ago for Dawn over at Dawn's Craft Place. I have a few cards on my computer that I forgot to post and this is one of them...oops!

I can enter this into a few challenges:
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays - Birthday
Tuesday Taggers - Cakes/balloons
Stamptacular Sunday - Spots and dots

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek!

Digi is from Doodle Palace (A boy and his dog) and will be available for purchase tomorrow.

This was my attempt at trying to sponge a "grass" looking ground under my digi image...what do you think? I also used one of my new edge punches at the top! EECK!! I absolutely love it! :) The envelope is a punch too that I just adore and I embossed it with circles...hope it looks okay on this card?!

Crazy 4 Challenges - 1 ribbon, 2 buttons or brads and 3 punches (I used 1 style of ribbon but twice...hope that was okay!) Oh and my brads are on the wheels and my 3 punches are the edge one at the top, envelope and circle.
Stamptacular Sunday - Spots and dots
Crafty Sentiments - Sketch
Corrosive - Texture
Sophisticat - So distressing
Sisterhood of Scrap Blog Hop (Mia) - Alter something and use it on your project (I altered the envelope with embossing)

No card...

No card yesterday or today because I have been working my tushy off out at our property building a new house. Exhausting I must say! I was going to share a few pictures including an ice hockey game I went to last week but I got a new phone and I can't figure out how to get the pictures off my camera! LOL! Looked online for instructions but my computer isn't recognizing my USB cable soooooo I will have to wait til I have more time to troubleshoot.
Anyone else out there an ice hockey fan?? This was by far the best game I had ever been too and the side I was rooting for won! YAH! Everyone even got free Frosty coupons from Wendy's....sweet!

Well, thanks for listening to me ramble. I will be back sometime in the next couple of days with a card or project of some sort!

Thanks for being such wonderful and faithful followers! You rock!
