Give A Hoot Candy!

** This candy is now closed!

This is a freebie image I got from Digi Kitty. Isn't the sentiment so cute? I am a big fan of recycling...I have a big pile in my house to prove it! LOL! Hopefully when we move I will have a better location to store and "hide" all my recycled items because right now it is just piled here and there and it drives me nuts and I'm sure it drives hubby crazy too! Most of the stuff I take to a facility but some items I keep and use for crafts and that is the stuff that piles up here and there. I'm sure some of you have the same problem!! LOL!
I am entering this card into multiple challenges and guess what else....??
I am offering up some blog candy!!!

What is in it you ask??
Good question...I'm not sure I just know I want to give something away and who doesn't like free stuff anyways? LOL! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! :)

What do you have to do?
1. Be a follower (do not follow though unless you really like my blog!!)
2. Please post the card above in your sidebar and link it back to me (you can also leave a regular post if you want but not necessary)
3. Here is the tricky part....in your comment you need to guess what the yellow, green and blue circles are made from! Hint** They are recycled from something in my house!! Only one comment per person please! :)
You have until March 20th which is the first day of Spring!! YAH!
I will post worldwide too!!
Good luck and I will be checking to make sure you followed all the rules...last time I had a few that didn't do everything I asked! I want to be fair to everyone!
Thanks!

By the way, I now have 60 followers! You all rock!!! WAHOO!! Hopefully most of you enter the candy since you already follow me!!!

I am going to also try and figure out if I can get this to stay at the top of my blog while the candy is going on...wish me luck!

Now for the challenges:
PolkaDoodle - Sketch and bird theme
EtsyInpsired - Inspired by the owl here.
KlSNS - Go Green (I promise the circles are recycled!!!) Can't reveal til after my candy!
Digi Kitty - Must use a digi kitty owl
Corrosive - Wings
Cute Card Thursday - Ribbon
Practical Scrappers - Stamps

Big hugs to all!!
-Stacie

OMG STACEY! WHAT A COOL contest this is! WOW! YOu USED MY OWL! LOVE IT! This is the cutest card--I love the pops of color in the circles--hmmm...those circles, what are they? CARTONS from orange juice? That's my guess. Whatever they are, I could NEVER tell that they were recycled. I love recycling too and being green!
Dont' forget to send me your email address so I can send our your HIPPO's SPRING FLOWER freebie stamp.

Purrs & Kisses,
Kristal of Digi Kitty

Well lets see I have added the picture to my sidebar, I am already a follower, and I am guessing it is the packaging from a box of candy the inserts that "protect" the candy. At least I am funny you have to admit.
By the way you can go in and set the date for this posting till March 20th and it will stay at the top till that day and everything after will go underneath. Hope that helps.

Very cute card, Stacie, and I am not sure what the circles are from -- I would guess some sort of packaging with the pretty papers I see on there. Thanks for joining our Go Green Challenge at KL Stampin N Scrappin! Stop by on Monday to see if you have won! :) Kelly

Hmmmmm....what a fun blog candy. Love the card the owl is too cute. I am guessing that the circles came from a drink carton...like milk or juice. Off to add you to my side bar Stacie.

Hi Stacie what a fab card, and a fantastic twist on a candy are your circles cut from fancy carrier bags ? well thats my guess anyway

Stacie, what an adorable card!! Love everything about it!!
Hope you win the challenges I'm sure you will!
Yo go girl!!
You could use your cuttlebug but use the thinner type cardboard. I just used a mask from some lace paper and added ink over the cardboad. I will use a lot of misting at times too! I just use my scissors to cut, no special ones I just use the cheap ones.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your sweet words!
Have a blessed day!!

Super card Stacie, this owl is adorable and your bugged background looks fab. I have no idea what you have cut your circles from but would love to know. Perhaps from gift bags? Thanks to Vikki I have found your blog.
Hugs,

Ooh who doesn't looove surprises?

I have put a pic of your Hooty Owl on my sidebar with a link and am a follower, but hmm... what have you recycled?

Stab in the dark time- they are envelopes? You have reused envelopes that people have sent you and coloured/stamped on them? lol.... not a clue really but they don't look recycled at all!

Hi Stacie, hope you had a great time away, good job you have this at the top lol forgot to come back and guess, my guess is that they are lids from the tops of fruit juice bottles, if not can't wait till the 20th to find out lol, take careX:)
