This is the UHU twisted up which creates a bigger and flatter surface.
This is the UHU not twisted which gives you a smaller more precise application tip.
And from left to right we have the UHU glue dot roller, K&Company glue runner and Scotch glue runner.
First of all according to the new FTC guidelines I must state that I was sent both UHU products for free in exchange for my honest feedback. Here is the website.
Now for my review...
I am out of the Scotch glue runner which I purchased at Wal-Mart for about $5 give or take. This was my first experience using a glue runner and thought it was just okay. Then while shopping at Hobby Lobby they had a big sale on adhesives so I picked up the K&Company brand for about $3...BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Now on my latest project (the last post) I used the UHU products! They worked pretty good...the twist and glue worked great for the toilet paper and didn't make it all mushy...I tried the glue runner and BIG MISTAKE! Take it from me...don't try it on TP at home! LOL! On the paper part I found the UHU dot runner to work really well...it seemed to glide easily even on uneven surfaces unlike the Scotch brand which seemed to never work right. If I had a ever so slight uneven spot the Scotch brand would just skip glueing that part...complete pain! The one thing the UHU dot roller is missing is maybe a hint of tint to let me see where the glue is...that is what the K&Company has..they tinted it a light pink which allows me to see where I put the glue. When I looked closely in the light it seemed that some of the UHU dots were missing in certain spots (maybe I didn't hold it evenly) but it didn't affect the stickiness at all....worked just fine! I tried to use the widest part of the UHU twisted glue (when you twist it up) but it seemed a tad bit runny. Just a little messy for my liking. I have never used a glue like this so that is a new one for me and I don't have anything to compare it to but overall I think it would work just fine. I especially like the option of being able to use a fine tip or a braod tip.
So within all this babble I came up with these pros and cons....
UHU dot glue runner
Pros: Glides evenly, able to use on uneven surfaces, holds tight
Cons: Sometimes misses some dots (although not enough to even worry about) and is not tinted
UHU twist and glue
Pros: Versatile fine and broad tip, doesn't wrinkle paper, good bond (hey I even tested on toilet paper and that stuff is hard to work with but this did great!)
Cons: A bit runny
K&Company glue runner
Pros: Glides evenly, able to use on uneven surfaces, holds tight, tinted
Cons: None that I can think of...so far my favorite glue runner
Scotch glue runner
Pros: Available at your local Wal-Mart, holds tight
Cons: Does not work on uneven surfaces and is not tinted, tougher to roll...compared to the other two just very poor quality in general. I probably wasted a bunch just trying to get it to work half the time!
Well, that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed my glue review! This was actually my first review ever so if you liked it let me know and if I could of done something differently to make it better I would like to know that also.
Thanks for stopping by!

Interesting item used on card!
Can you guess what the unique item I used is??? TP!! Yep, good ol' TP! So I must say it is NOT easy to work with at all...everything I tried just wasn't turning out right. Maybe it was the brand I used or maybe I just don't know what I'm doing...probably a good combination of both! LOL! This card is actually for Angie's dad who was diagnosed with cancer. Her site is here. If you want to send a card just e-mail her for the address...I'm sure they would really appreciate the thought! At first I was going to do a masculine card but then I thought it is really the entire family that is dealing with this so I thought flowers would be a good idea. Men and women both like flowers!! I colored the image with my Copics...still improving on my blending! :) Covered it with paint on glitter for that added sparkle. Then I rolled up some TP and mounted it in an X pattern and sponged with matching purple ink. I thought the X was good for respresenting the cancer to go away!! I wish the best for him and his family!
Challenges:
Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge - Use TP
CPS 140 - sketch
Lily-Boo Too - purple

Just a little warning....
I just got news about someone going around and leaving unpleasant comments on others blogs and they could be impersonating a friend of yours. I actually read about this today on a challenge blog I usually visit. If you click on the link it takes you to a site that looks like one you might be following but BEWARE it is not that person it is an impersonator!! So if you think you are receiving nasty comments from myself or any of your other friends please be aware that it is an impersonator!! I just wanted to give you a heads up about this and assure you that I would never EVER do this to anyone...no nasty comments allowed! :) It might be nice to let your friend know too if you happen to get a nasty gram just so they know what is going on!
Thanks for reading and I hope whoever is doing this STOPS!!! It is not nice!

Where oh where does the time go?? I haven't posted since Friday!! I still don't have a card done for today but I did want to show you some stuff I picked up at the local dollar store. Can you believe they sell this for only $1? So, are there dollars stores where you live?...really curious as to those that live internationally!

Winnings!
Here are some winnings I want to show you! I have been so lucky! Early x-mas for me...LOL!
The above picture is what I won from Claudia at Die Cuts R Us when she was having the BIG copic sale...by the way she still has some great sales going on so you should check out her store! There are 12 A2 size papers and she was nice enough to include two stamped images she thought I would like and of course I do!!! I want to get good at using copics first so I don't mess them up! :)
This is a goodie bag I won from a Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge! There are 2 stamped images, some ribbon, some special paper to stamp on (not sure of the brand), and some pretty tissue paper! I'm wondering if I could use the tissue paper to put on a candle?? That would be soooo pretty!!
This is what I won from the Pick 3 challenge over at Stamping Vacation! If you haven't tried this out you really need to...so fun! If you win Denise lets you pick from 3 prizes...that is so awesome! :) I got some silver leaf stickers and an SEI "Love" book! So pretty! I have an idea for the book I just need to figure out how to put it all together. :P
I won this new release stamp set of new dad Ian and mom Anya from The Greeting Farm. All I had to do was join in a blog hop (I won from Pam's Blog...she is a DT member of Club Anya)! Been doing alot of those lately...it is fun to see everyone's creations. They are all so different and yet all so lovely! Anyways, love, love, love this new set!!
I won this little stamp set from Vikki over at Vikki's Creations. Isn't it so cute? The bee is so adorable and I have another stamp that will go perfect with it!
Last but not least this is some candy I won over at SPCC. It is a metallic chalk set and stencils from Pebbles! This I haven't actually received in the mail yet but it should be here anyday! So exciting!!
A special thank you to all of you!!! I just LOVE everything I receive! I have always loved getting mail so to get a present or candy is even better! :) You are all so very generous!
Big Hugs!!

House Mouse card!
This is my first House Mouse card. Saw this stamp and thought it was so adorable...actually all the house mouse furry animals are super cute! I just love animals and used to raise rabbits when I was younger...would love to do it again someday. I tried to use a sketch for this but it just wasn't working so I did my own thing and I'm glad I did! I read Claudia's tips on Copics over at Die Cuts R Us and I think it really helped me understand blending...she also includes some other great tips. Now I know it isn't perfect but I do think I am improving! Can you tell I blended two colors of each (green, pink and brown)?? What do you think...pretty good for a beginner?? I even did an outline shading...this was so much fun to color and completely out of my comfort zone...guess that is why they call all these challenges! LOL! I also used my new gold stickles from some candy I won not long ago to dot the satin ribbon and I can't say enough how much I just LOVE stickles!!! Okay now for the challenges and don't forget to let me know what you think about my coloring...or anything else you might like!
Thanks!

My second award is the "Friend" award from Linda at Payne Holler Cards. Thank you so much...this means so much to me! Linda is so super talented and I just love visiting her blog! You really need to check it out for yourself!
For this award I am supposed to tell you 5 things about myself...oh boy where to begin?
1. My husband and I have traveled all over the world and he proposed to me along the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. There are still LOTS of places I want to visit! If I won the lottery I think I would travel all the time!
2. My hair is naturally wavy/curly and although I get told all the time that people wish they had my hair so they didn't have to get perms, etc. I think it can be annoying to manage...most of the time I just let it do what it wants because the more I fuss with it the worse it looks! For those of you out there with that type of hair I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about...we have our good hair days and our bad...and yes the weather totally affects it! LOL!
3. I love to cook! And luckily I have been told I am an excellent cook! :) I fix easy as well as very gourmet meals. Super fun creating new meals that we love and I have a hard time following recipes...always gotta add my own touch!
4. I like to do organic gardening. I don't believe in using pesticides/insecticides...although I don't go crazy and buy all organic at the store and I know most foods I eat probably have something on it that will kill me BUT we usually plant a big garden and I don't put any pesticides/insecticides on it. I do have some organic tricks I use and sometimes they work and sometimes not. I just feel blessed for whatever I can get and it feels so good knowing where my food came from and that it won't harm me!
5. I am addicted to food! HA! No wonder I can't lose those extra pounds I put on! Although I eat fairly healthy main meals I do love my sweets. It is so hard to turn those down...but I am working on it! Pies, cookies, cakes, etc. They call my name...LOL! Especially anything fruit flavored...give me a cherry pie and I'm in heaven! I could care less about chips and candy just give me fruity dessert! Now I do eat chocolate on occassion..not often though. And when I do I go for the hazelnut flavored kind like Mon Cheri (the non cherry kind which I have not been able to find anywhere for a few years now...VERY SAD!), Toffifay, Belgium chocolates that look like shells! MMMMmmm, now I'm hungry! LOL!
Enough about me...now to pass this onto 5 other friends. Can't wait to read and learn about you!
1.Claudia
2.Merry
3.Denise
4.Kym
5.Angie
Thanks again ladies for the 2 wonderful awards...it has been a big encouragment boost! I appreciate it very much! :)

I'm Back!!!
Okay ladies...I'm back in action! Thanks for being patient while I took a little break (won't bore you with the long explanation)...it has been 5 days since creating anything...YIKES!!! I noticed I have a few new followers and I am tickled pink about this....thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!! :) Almost to 25 and that just makes me so giddy!!! I will warn you that I might be posting alot as I have some serious catching up to do in the next few days. I spent all morning today trying to catch up on my hopping now I need to post some stuff! So let's rock n' roll!!
This is a set of toasting glasses I made for a friends wedding. She had a fall theme so I used the same ribbon she used for some things in the wedding and I found these great fall leaves to attach with a string to the bottom...package of leaves were only 99 cents at Hobby Lobby! I used the Storybook cricut cart to cut out my monogram and then etched on the glass. Once again not so easy to etch on something that is round but I'm getting better! :)
Challenges:
KL Stampin and Scrappin Challenge - fall colors
La-La Land Crafts Challenge #10 - ribbon

Copic blending...
Digi is free from There's Magic in the Air.
No card today...getting ready to go take some senior pictures (I also do some amateur photography). I debated whether I should post this or not but I want some real honest feedback. I can color with my new Copics but I have no clue how to blend and that is part of the point of even owning copics to begin with right?! So I sat down one evening while watching TV and had a serious go at it. This is how it turned out. I realized that blending causes major bleeding outside the lines!! YIKES!! Not sure how to stop this?? I worked hard to push it back in but it all did not go. I'm sure if I fussed with it more I could of made even more progress but I got tired...LOL! Anyways, looking for HONEST feedback! I would love to hear what you like and what I could improve upon...or tips/suggestions on how you color with Copics would be helpful also!! Any feedback is appreciated!
Thanks so much and enjoy the rest of your day...it is beautiful outside!! YAH! No rain! :)

Connie's B-day card and don't forget to vote!
This is a card for my MIL. I think it turned out soooo pretty!! I used my cricut Wild Cards cart to cut out the card. Cut out the cupcake top separately and popped it with 3-D squares. Then embossed happy birthday in vanilla on black cardstock inside (used a dryer sheet that someone gave me a tip on since I don't have an embossing buddy yet...THANKS!). Attached a few buttons with hemp twine. Glittered up the flame on the candle and glued some spangles on the cupcake top. Oh so yummy!
Also, some of you have not read my post about voting on how I should give away candy...either that or you didn't read far enough (shame on you if that is the case!...LOL!) I would also be happy if I could get more followers...hint, hint!! No pressure though...I don't want you to follow unless you REALLY want to...and I appreciate all the comments my regular followers leave...THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Means so much to me!! So if you want to vote (or follow) please check back on 10/21 and read my goodies in the mail post.
THANKS!

My nephew, Royce, taught me how to use Prismacolor pencils (he had a set of 12 he no longer needed for school and gave them to me...YIPPEE!!). 4th post...somebody stop me!!
LOL! Can you tell I am having fun today?? I had lots of catching up to do and since I had the day off work I decided to go for it...the house is getting neglected but it will still be there later! :P
I really like how this card turned out! I love those three colors together and I just had to try out my new stickles that I got in my candy win and I must say NOW I know why they are used so much....they are so puffy/sparkly!! Also very easy to apply so of course now I am going to want them all! My wish list is getting HUGE!
This is also another free digi from I don't know where...if anyone knows please let me know so I can credit these people!
Now for the challenges:
The Fresh Batch - sketch

Crafty Catz #4 - colors (black, white and one other color), also include a ribbon and some other embellishments
Charisma Cardz #41 - distressing (I sanded the edges of the background black and also the little red tabs on the image in the middle...not sure you can really see the distressing so well but I tried!)

3rd post today...I'm on a roll!!
I wanted to share with you this unity candle holder I made for my friend's wedding a few weeks ago but have never posted yet! Really hard to take a picture of glass!! Also hard to etch items that are not flat...lol...found out the hard way! Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Cornucopia Card
This card was so hard to color!! The image really isn't of the best quality...kind of blury so I had a hard time telling where to color...I got the image free online but can't remember where. This was before I got smart and started making folders for my digis so I could remember where I got them! I didn't want my hard work of coloring to go to waste so I made a card.
Challenges:
Get Sketchy #10 - sketch
Die Cuts R US - earthy
Creatalicious - use up scraps (I told you I had alot of scraps!)

More goodies in the mail!
First picture is blog candy I won from Dianne at Paper Hugs! Look at all these goodies...WAHOO!! I have always wanted to try stickles and now I get my chance! I need to buy some EZ mount so I can use my new stamps...they look awesome! The paper is fantastic...I could go on and on...LOVE ALL OF IT! If you get a chance please go check out her blog! Right now she has a napkin she stamped on and colored with Copics...how cool!
The second picture is a CTMH stamp set I won through a JuJu Bee Blog Buzz on Jamie's blog here. This stamp set is FANTASTIC!! Look at all the layers of cake!! They are separate so I can create it however I want!
Some great stuff ladies...thank you so much!!! :)
I have been a very lucky princess lately with being able to buy all kinds of stash with my money that I have been hoarding for so long and now I am winning all kinds of stuff! I must of been a very good girl! LOL! I actually have more winnings but I will wait to post when I get them in the mail!
I also have almost 20 followers (hopefully I will get more soon)!! WAHOO!! I am feeling very thankful for all my gifts and friends....in my shopping travels I have managed to obtain doubles of some items (oops, how did that happen?....HEHE!) I just might be giving something away soon as a little appreciation!! So be on the lookout! :)
Now I am going to do a little poll....so hopefully you are reading ALL of this post!!
I will be able to tell who reads everything...hehe! I'm sneaky too so watchout!
If I were to post some candy should I do multiple mini giveaways (and let you pick what you want out of a few choices) that away there would be more than one winner OR should I group everything all together and only have one winner???
Let me know what you think!!!
I have a few hours to play before I gotta do chores so stay tuned...

Spooky Sign!
Well, here it is! What I have been working on today with my brand spankin' new Copics!! I didn't even try to blend...not that brave yet! But I was happy with the colors and how easy the brush tip is to use...also proud that I stayed in the lines for the most part! :) I am not that much into Halloween but I just had to give this a try with some new images I have gotten and this tutorial I saw by Deanne on Digital Delights. Now if I had to do it over again I would of picked a different background paper...one that didn't match so perfectly with my images and didn't seem so busy...but I didn't have any that suited me AND my printer is out of ink! LOL! You live and learn right?! So what do you think of my first project (not totally paper) and my coloring?? Also, any tips on cutting out digis is greatly appreciated!!! It is so hard!
Images:
Haunted House - freebie from Digital Delights
Spooky Girl - image I just won from Busy Beauties
Pumpkins - freebie from Digital Ink Co.

SOOOOO much to share!!
I feel like I am so behind that I'm not sure where to begin sharing with you all. Here goes...first I want to say thanks to those of you wishing me well! Must of worked because I am feeling tons better! Only thing I have now is a sore throat/neck area on my right side...maybe from drainage? But I have not slept all day like I did yesterday...I literally slept about every hour yesterday snuggled up next to the fireplace with a t-shirt, sweatshirt, warm pants, big fuzzy socks and TWO blankets on me...I was still freezing!
Now for the good stuff...I had a package arrive this week and I want to share the contents....are you ready??
Can you give me a big WAHOO?!!! All of this is from Die Cuts R Us. They had a HUGE sale so I decided to part with my money I have been stashing away for some time now...also spent more money at other stores but will have to post that later. The cricut stuff was I believe 40% off and the Copics were only $2.99!! Yes, that is right ONLY $2.99!!! There are still a few left and Claudia has been so kind to leave them at that price so what are you waiting for?? Go shopping!! I mean look at them...they are soooo pretty!! LOL! I hope to post later what I have been coloring with them! I also want to mention how FAB Claudia is (owner of Die Cuts R Us). She helped me with my order over the phone...I accidentally went too far to pay and wanted another item so she gave me a code for free shipping on the second item. Then we have been discussing stuff on e-mail...she is super super friendly!! She was kind enough to send me a few sheets of special paper to try out with ALL my copics!! AND she even included a cute little matchbook notepad! She is also very quick to respond...excellent to do business with and also a wonderful blogging friend! :)
Thanks again Claudia for everything!!
Okay, well I better get going and try to wrap up my project. I will post more later...

Yesterday...
This is where I was all day yesterday...can you tell we are making progress? So much work involved! I helped put tar paper on the roof today (top left side of house you can see some black)...lets just say I'm not too afraid of heights! A special thanks to my DH and my dad for doing all the work!! They are the real troopers...my mom and I just help sometimes.

Card for Caleb
Okay, first I want to say how hard it was to ONLY put this card in one challenge. For this you can not combine and you all know how I LOVE to combine challenges!! But I did it and I am soooooo pleased with how this came out! This is for Caleb on the featured kids list at Make a Child Smile. If you have not checked this site out PLEASE do so and I hope you participate and send these children some love! Just knowing that there are people all over the world thinking of them means so much to a sick child. On the site it says he likes Spongebob (so do I...hehe!). I think he is going to love this card!! He also likes football and Spiderman so I picked him up a Spiderman puzzle playing football and a Spongebob paper pad with guess what.....?? STAMPS and INK!!! How appropriate!
Okay well, I am off to go make dinner...DH is on his way home and I'm sure he will be hungry!
Challenge:
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #28- Character Counts (use a well known cartoon character). Also include a stamp (my hello sentiment).

No card...
Long story...there will not be another card for Louise. Party was today so we just signed it from my mom and me. Yesterday after getting home from work our house smelled like gas/oil and I thought we had a natural gas leak so I grabbed a phone and ran to my garage. I'm sure you all know gas leaks are nasty and you can blow your house completely up just by turning a light switch on or anything small that causes friction or a spark....so I was scared out of my mind!!! My dad/hubby came over and investigated...after a few hours we found out it was not natural gas but our sump pump had gotten clogged in the cellar and burned up. So it had a fuel/oil smell but not natural gas! What a relief!! BUT the smell was so strong and gassy that I was getting severe headaches and was light-headed and dizzy so I had to stay out of the house which is why I did not get another card done. After airing out the house last night things are back to normal (minus the melted sump pump that needs fixed!). So today I am catching up on blogland and hopefully will get time to create something tomorrow!
Oh...and thanks for all the tips on embossing!! I think I will try a dryer sheet until I can pick up one of those embossing buddies!

First embossed card....
Well, here is a card as promised...not really happy with it but I ran out of time to do some damage control. I have been soooooo scared to try heat embossing but I gave it a try and I like it but I definately could use some tips. See in the picture all the little black dots around my image....how do I keep that from happening??? I stamped in versamark...used black powder...tapped off excess and heat embossed. Then tried to brush any powder that was left off but it was stuck on the card!! Kind of gives this card a neat effect but in the future I won't want that to happen. Then I watercolored my image....okay I haven't used actual watercolored paints in YEARS...got some areas a little too watery...oops! Under the flowers I tried to clean up some orange but just made it look dirty...ugh :( Then I added alot of sparkle but it just didn't turn out as I had hoped. Also I can't cut straight if my life depended on it! LOL! My image gets smaller and smaller and smaller....I so depend on my cricut way too much!! I will keep practicing at this so hopefully I can get better! Any tips on the embossing or anything else is greatly appreciated. Hopefully the next card will be MUCH better!
I am entering this into some challenges:
Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #7 - Show the Earth rejoicing!
Crafty Catz Challenge #2 - butterflies
Flutter By Wednesday #77 - butterfly OR fairy AND the color sapphire
ABC Challenge - E is for embossing
Back to Basics #5 - emboss and watercolor

Whimsie Doodles Candy Win and New Stash!

The first picture is a digi I won from Whimsie Doodles. Isn't it so cute? I'm not a huge Halloween fan but I do love this image!!! I am a sucker for cute little animals!
The second picture is what I bought on my recent shopping spree with my mom at Hobby Lobby. I did pretty good...all of that for only $50!!! I bought almost everything on sale...oh man do I just LOVE a good sale!!!
The third picture is what I bought at my local craft store...the only one within a pretty good driving distance! Paper was on sale and everything else was $1 each!!!
Stay tuned...I have more coming in the mail and I will post when I get it. Your mouth will drop when you see it!
I have been saving for awhile if you can't tell...my DH gives me an allowance every two weeks to spend on non-essential items (or what he considers not a necessity...I think crafting is a necessity now!). I am just lucky I get money to spend so I won't complain one bit!! Buying all these different products I am definately finding out what I like and don't like. Some things that are cheap are well worth the savings other things require a splurge of the pocketbook! Maybe if I get time I will share with you every so often what I like/dislike. Where does time go??? Never enough hours in a day!
Hopefully the next post will be a project I just completed!

Candy and RAK!
Some more goodies I got in the mail! The top picture is what I won with my elephant drawing that I did on my head from Helen over at Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts. I don't have any of these images so I can't wait to get my new coloring tools... (I will post about that when I get them...oh you will be surprised!!!) but first I will practice on images I have so hopefully I don't mess any of these up!
Thanks again Helen!!
The second picture (sorry it is sideways...everytime I tried to make it turn the picture wouldn't stick) is a RAK I received from Deanne over at am i a scrap addict? She always has fab ideas on how to recycle items and make them pretty! I mean just look at the little can top mini she sent me... isn't it lovely?! Super pretty and thanks again for the RAK!
